How long does a typical fleet charging installation take in London or Essex?+
Depends on charger count and civils. A six-bay AC install with existing three-phase might be two to three days on-site. Add a sub-main upgrade or DC rapids and you're looking at a week or more, plus DNO lead time if new capacity is needed. We give realistic programmes at survey stage.
Do you handle DNO applications for increased supply capacity?+
Yes. We submit G99 applications to UK Power Networks (London, East and Southeast) and SSEN (parts of Essex) and manage the whole process. If your existing supply won't support the planned chargers, we'll spec the upgrade and coordinate the DNO connection.
Can you install DC rapid chargers for fleet vehicles?+
Yes. We install both AC and DC chargers depending on your fleet profile and dwell time. DC rapids need serious three-phase capacity and proper load management, but if your vehicles turn around quickly they're often the only option that works. We'll spec what actually fits your operation.
What's involved in a free site survey for a fleet installation?+
We'll visit your depot or car park, check the incoming supply and distribution board, measure cable runs, assess civils requirements and discuss your charging schedule. You'll get a fixed-price quote covering chargers, installation, DNO fees if applicable, load management hardware and all certification. No surprises.
