Do you charge more for evenings, weekends and bank holidays?+
We have a single out-of-hours rate that applies after 6pm weekdays, all day weekends and bank holidays. The rate is fixed and quoted over the phone before we dispatch. No dynamic pricing, no hidden admin fees.
What counts as a genuine electrical emergency?+
Total loss of power, burning smells, sparking or arcing, tripped boards that won't reset, exposed live conductors, or anything that poses immediate fire or shock risk. If you're unsure, call us, we'll talk you through safe isolation and decide if it warrants emergency attendance or can wait until morning.
Can you issue certificates for emergency work done out-of-hours?+
Yes. Every job is tested and certified to BS 7671, even at 2am. You'll receive an electrical installation certificate or minor works certificate within 48 hours, plus photos of the work and any failed components for your records or insurer.
